Connected Store and Google Analytics

Digital Retailing and Connected Store

In the last few years, Google Analytics has become a standard in the automotive industry. It’s a very useful tool to help analyze how shoppers are coming to the site, how long they spend on the site, and where they might convert to a lead. Google Analytics also allows you to compare different vendors and see if you’re getting the most engaged traffic for your marketing dollars.

As part of our ongoing support of Google Analytics, we announced our commitment to PCG standards, created CDK Google Analytics best practices and introduced the CDK Google Analytics Website Engagement Metrics document. We’ve expanded our support into passing Connected Store Engagement Metrics into a dealer’s Google Analytics account.

To make digital retailing in Google Analytics even easier, we’ve created a series of segments, goals and dashboards.
