On November 7, 2018, Brian Krzanich was named the CEO of CDK Global and a member of our Board of Directors.
Prior to joining CDK Global, Brian Krzanich served as chief executive officer (CEO) of Intel from May 2013 to June 2018. As CEO, he led Intel’s corporate strategy and operations, including development of Intel’s business model and identifying emerging technologies. While serving in this role, Mr. Krzanich was credited for diversifying the Company’s product offerings and workforce.
He joined Intel in 1982 as an engineer, became a corporate vice president in 2006, and served until 2010 as vice president and general manager of Assembly and Test. He was senior vice president and general manager of Manufacturing and Supply Chain from 2010 to 2012. He became executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2012, responsible for global manufacturing, supply chain, human resources, and information technology.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from San Jose State University. He has served on the Boards of Deere & Company and Semiconductor Industry Association, as well as the Drone Advisory Committee, which advises the Federal Aviation Administration.
Brian, his wife Brandee, and two daughters reside in the Bay area.

Lee Brunz oversees legal and compliance matters, including corporate governance, corporate and commercial transactions, intellectual property, litigation, regulatory compliance, and privacy.
Prior to CDK, Lee served as vice president & counsel for ADP, supporting the Dealer Services business. Previously, he served as vice president, Finance & general counsel for Cobalt Holding Company until its acquisition by ADP in 2010. Lee holds a LLM in Tax from New York University School of Law, a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English from Whitman College.

Amy Byrne oversees all aspects of human resources management and employee communications for CDK Global’s more than 8,000 employees.
Amy and her leadership team drive a values-based culture that is focused on learning, connectedness, diversity and inclusion, and rewards. Prior to joining CDK, Amy was with Avon Products, Inc. where she led the human resources organization for the Latin America and Global Brand Marketing businesses, supporting a region of $4.5 billion in revenues and over 17,000 employees across 12 countries. Prior to Avon, Amy held increasing HR roles across U.S. Foodservice, Inc., The Boeing Company, William M. Mercer, Inc., and Hay Management Consultants. Amy started her career as a pension analyst for Hewitt. Amy holds a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She speaks Spanish and enjoys running, tennis, international travel and the Chicago Cubs.

Dean Crutchfield is responsible for all aspects of our IT infrastructure and security. He and his leadership team support infrastructure that serves 28,000 rooftops.
Prior to joining CDK, Dean served as the chief information officer at Zebra Technologies. Before Zebra, he had global IT responsibility for Dell’s supply chain network, product development and was a services P&L leader. Dean has also held positions in global and regional IT groups at British Petroleum. Dean earned a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. He sits on the board of directors and is actively involved with One Million Degrees, a charity focused on helping low-income, highly motivated community college students navigate challenges and build skill for success.

Dan Flynn is the leader of our North America business. Since joining us in 2016, he has been leading our successful business transformation efforts focused on putting our Customers First.
Prior to CDK, Dan spent several years at the Hertz Corporation where he had extensive process and operational management experience and led company-wide Lean Six Sigma-based process improvement initiatives. Most recently he served as senior vice president, North America Rent-a-Car Operations, where he oversaw more than $6.5 billion in revenue, 23,000 employees and 500,000 cars across 3,000+ locations. Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University and has attained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. He has also received executive education from IMD located in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ron Frey is responsible for global corporate strategy, M&A, and product development. He and his leadership team are committed to providing CDK dealer partners with solutions that enable end-to-end automotive commerce.
Frey has been an automotive innovator since 1985. He first identified a niche market and founded a full service auto-buying service that grew into one of the nation's leading credit union auto-buying programs before selling to TrueCar. In 2005, he joined TrueCar as their COO/Partner. In 2007, Frey took on the role as president of AutoNation Direct. During his tenure he focused on developing and testing bold new initiatives in transactional sales outside the traditional store environment and was later promoted to chief strategy officer of AutoNation, Inc. More recently, Frey has been providing consulting services to the automotive industry through his company, RL Frey.

Scott Herbers was named the leader of our North America Dealership Sales group in 2016.
Scott Herbers was named the leader of our North America Dealership Sales group in 2016. While serving in this role, he led the teams responsible for the growth and retention of the 9000+ CDK customers in the automotive and heavy truck markets.
Scott has extensive experience in providing products and solutions to the automotive marketplace and has held increasing positions of responsibility in sales, general management, marketing, operations, and OEM. Prior to his current role, he held general manager roles where he led the growth and expansion of the CVR business and CDK west region. Before he came to CDK, Scott was the vice president of sales/marketing at EyeVelocity, a visual interactive software company. Scott started his automotive career at the Reynolds + Reynolds Company, where he spent 13 years working in a variety of positions.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Oregon. He has served on the CDK Global Corporate Responsibility Committee, and has held board positions with Orange County Youth Sports Organization and WebWise kids.
Scott and his family reside in Orange County, California.
Neil Packham is responsible for our International organization, with operations in 27 countries outside of North America and India, delivering solutions to customers in around 100 countries globally.
He and his leadership team are focused on developing collaborative technology that will enable a seamless customer experience for dealers and OEMs around the world. Neil has held senior positions within a number of large corporations and startups, primarily within the automotive, digital and software sectors.

Mahesh Shah is responsible for driving product innovation, research and development, building and testing, as well as outlining a roadmap for existing and future portfolios in partnership with the business.
Prior to CDK Global, Mahesh was the general manager and vice president, Acquisition and Divestiture, IT Consulting Services at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). In this role, he established a new business to deliver consulting and technology services to assist clients in executing the IT aspects of an acquisition or divestiture. Mahesh held various roles throughout his 16-year tenure at HPE including chief information officer, Enterprise Services and Software; IT separation leader; vice president, Product R&D and IT; executive director, Security Product Management and Development; and several other executive roles in IT automation and cloud engineering.
Early in his career, Mahesh was also a senior consultant for IBM Global Services, where he managed large-scale technology projects for many Fortune 100 companies. He serves on the board of advisors for several technology startups.
Mahesh earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in management information systems from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.

Joe Tautges oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions, corporate real estate, procurement and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining CDK, Joe served as the CFO of the $18 billion Enterprise Services segment of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE). Prior to HPE, he held various levels of increasing responsibility in both operations and financial management with Sears Holdings and Aon Hewitt. Before Aon Hewitt, Joe worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP. Joe earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
