Brian MacDonald, Chief Executive Officer

Brian MacDonald is the CEO of CDK Global and serves on our board of directors. Since joining CDK in 2016, Brian has led a company transformation that includes a “Customer First” focus.

“I am passionate about helping dealerships operate at peak performance and navigate a rapidly changing world. My leadership team and I regularly meet with our customers, major vehicle manufacturers and top technology partners involved in our business to ensure we are in-sync with the industry and ensuring we are driving dealer excellence.”

Brian serves as the CEO of CDK Global. Prior to joining CDK, Brian served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation from June 2014 through June 2015 and as interim Chief Executive Officer of Hertz Corporation from September 2014 through November 2014.

Prior to joining CDK, Brian served as chief executive officer and president of Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation, and served as Interim CEO of Hertz Corporation. Prior to Hertz, Brian served as president and chief executive officer of ETP Holdco Corporation, an entity formed following Energy Transfer Partners' $5.3 billion acquisition of Sunoco, Inc. where Brian had served as chairman, president and CEO. He was the chief financial officer at Sunoco and held senior financial roles at Dell, Inc. Prior to Dell, Brian spent more than 13 years in several financial management roles at General Motors Corporation in North America, Asia and Europe.

Brian earned a MBA from McGill University and a bachelor's degree from Mount Allison University. He previously served on the board of directors for CSC (now DXC), Sunoco, Sunoco Logistics and Ally Financial, Inc.

Rajiv Amar, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Rajiv Amar leads the development of engineering platforms, strategies and solutions. He and his leadership team create innovation products by listening to the needs of our customers and industry trends.

“I enjoy creating products that enable our dealers’ businesses to grow while providing consumers the experiences they want.”

Rajiv serves as CDK Global's Chief Technology Officer. He joined CDK in July, 2014 as Divisional Vice President, Development leading the Core Platform product suite.

Rajiv has more than 25 years of experience in the technology and engineering space. He’s held leadership positions at Sage Software, Inc., Serena Software, Inc, Intuit, Inc., and Hewlett Packard. His accomplishments include leading the creation of Innovated NA Sage Cloud & Mobility, a next-generation hybrid cloud solution enabling mobile sales and service. At Serena, he developed an innovative Dashboard and Business Intelligence solution that enabled customers to create evidence based results.

Rajiv earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University.

Lee Brunz, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel

Lee Brunz oversees legal and compliance matters, including corporate governance, corporate and commercial transactions, intellectual property, litigation, regulatory compliance, and privacy.

Lee acts as General Counsel for CDK Global, after previously serving as Vice President & Counsel for the Digital Marketing business of ADP Dealer Services, Inc.

Prior to CDK, Lee served as vice president & counsel for ADP, supporting the Dealer Services business. Previously, he served as vice president, Finance & general counsel for Cobalt Holding Company until its acquisition by ADP in 2010

Lee holds a LLM in Tax from New York University School of Law, a JD from the University of Oregon School Of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English from Whitman College.

Dean W. Crutchfield, EVP & Chief Information Officer

Dean Crutchfield is responsible for all aspects of our IT infrastructure and security. He and his leadership team support infrastructure that serves 28K rooftops.

“I love the fast pace rate of change in the technology sector. Listening to our customer needs, watching technology constantly evolve and fostering innovation are aspects of my job that I enjoy.”

Prior to joining CDK, Dean served as the chief information officer at Zebra Technologies. Before Zebra, he had global IT responsibility for Dell’s supply chain network, product development and was a services P&L leader. Dean has also held positions in global and regional IT groups at British Petroleum.

Dean earned a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. He sits on the board of directors and is actively involved with One Million Degrees, a charity focused on helping low-income, highly motivated community college students navigate challenges and build skill for success.

Neil Packham, President, CDK International

Neil serves as President, CDK International, responsible for our organisation outside of US and Canada having been promoted into this role in January 2017. Neil joined CDK in July 2013 as Vice President for the UK Region, which encompasses UK, Middle East, Ireland and Africa. He is also a member of the CDK Corporate Responsibility Council.

Prior to joining CDK Neil has enjoyed a career in the automotive, digital and software sectors working in a variety of business areas such as business development and strategy, sales and marketing, product development, sales and general management.

He has held senior positions within a number of large corporations and start-ups.

Dan Flynn, President, North America

Dan Flynn is the leader of our North America business. Since joining us in 2016, he has been leading our successful business transformation efforts focused on putting our Customers First

Prior to CDK, Dan spent several years at The Hertz Corporation where he had extensive process and operational management experience and led company-wide Lean Six Sigma-based process improvement initiatives. Most recently he served as senior vice president, North America Rent a Car Operations, where he oversaw more than $6.5 billion in revenue, 23,000 employees and 500,000 cars across 3,000+ locations.

Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University and has attained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. He has also received executive education from IMD located in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Tony Graham, Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer

As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Tony is responsible for strengthening the connection between CDK Global and our customers. Tony acts as the voice of the customer across Automotive Retail North America and Digital Marketing. In addition to this role, he also serves as Vice President, Regional General Manager Central Region, DASH and Minority Dealer Business.

During his tenure with CDK Global, Tony has held positions in product marketing, sales, business development and field operations. He is actively involved in our CDK Diversity and Inclusion Strategy and was a key driver in the creation of the Minority Dealer Business. Tony is also a member of the CDK Corporate Responsibility Council.

As Chief Customer Experience Officer, Tony is responsible for strengthening the connection between CDK Global and our customers. Tony acts as the voice of the customer across Automotive Retail North America and Digital Marketing.

Tony earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems at Alabama State University and a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

He is actively involved in the community and provides leadership and support to many local organizations. He is a member of the Trustee Board for the Christian Tabernacle Church and Alabama State University Dean’s Advisory Board.

Scott Mathews, Executive Vice President, North America Sales

Scott brings more than 30 years of management and technology experience to his role as CDK Global’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Digital Marketing group. Scott joined CDK in 2010 with the Cobalt acquisition, where he spent eight years as their Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining Cobalt, Scott served for three years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Emerge Interactive, Inc., a company that specializes in internet and web-based applications for the food production industry. He spent three years as the Vice President and General Manager of Key Technology, Inc., an international equipment manufacturer and distributor. Prior to that, Scott spent 14 years at General Electric Medical Systems in a variety of sales, marketing and general management positions.

Scott brings more than 30 years of management and technology experience to his role as CDK Global's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Digital Marketing group

Scott received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He and his wife, Ashley, are actively involved with Treehouse, a nonprofit organization serving Seattle youth in foster care. He is an avid motorcyclist, often riding to work via bike. Scott, Ashley and their Dobermans, Felix and Grace, all live in the Seattle area.

Ron Frey, Chief Strategy Officer

Ron Frey is responsible for Global corporate strategy, M&A, and product development. He and his leadership team are committed to providing CDK dealer partners with solutions that enable end-to-end automotive commerce.

What is your passion for doing what you do? “My passion is to provide dealers with solutions they need to increase sales, operational efficiency drive profitability and delight their customers.”

Ron Frey serves as CDK's Global Chief Strategy Officer. He joined CDK in 2017 and has responsibility for corporate strategy, business development, and product management.

Frey has been an automotive innovator since 1985. He first identified a niche market and founded a full service auto-buying service that grew into one of the nation's leading credit union auto-buying programs before selling to TrueCar. In 2005 he joined TrueCar as their COO/Partner. In 2007, Frey took on the role as president of AutoNation Direct. During his tenure he focused on developing and testing bold new initiatives in transactional sales outside the traditional store environment and was later promoted to chief strategy officer of AutoNation, Inc. More recently, Frey has been providing consulting services to the automotive industry through his company, RL Frey.

Amy Byrne, EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Amy is responsible for Human Resources and employee communications at CDK Global. Previously she was with Avon Products, Inc. where she led human resources for the Latin America region. Prior to Avon, Amy held roles of increasing responsibility with U.S. Foodservice and The Boeing Company. Amy began her career in executive compensation and actuarial consulting.

Amy is responsible for Human Resources and employee communications at CDK Global.

Amy holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She speaks Spanish and enjoys running, tennis, international travel and the Chicago Cubs.

Joe Tautges, EVP and Chief Financial Officer

Joe Tautges oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions, corporate real estate, procurement and continuous improvement. He and his leadership team are responsible for the company’s finances and ensuring employees have the financial knowledge and tools to make good business decisions.

What is your passion for doing what you do? “My passion is around helping businesses achieve their full potential, leveraging data and analytics for fact based decision making. Partnering with the leadership team and business to execute on the opportunities is critical as we achieve our full potential.”

Joe oversees the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, M&A, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions.

Prior to joining CDK, Joe served as the CFO of the $18 billion Enterprise Services segment of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE). Prior to HPE, he held various levels of increasing responsibility in both operations and financial management with Sears Holdings and Aon Hewitt. Before Aon Hewitt, Joe worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Joe earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
