J&L Marketing VP of Sales Russell Grant to Speak at 97th NADA Convention

Post Date:

Grant to co-present with ADP and share expertise on data security

LOUISVILLE, KY – January 8, 2014 – J&L Marketing announced today that Vice President of Sales Russell Grant will co-present with Devon Bryan, Vice President, Global Trust Assurance Programs with ADP, Inc.’s Global Security Organization at the 97th NADA Convention and Expo January 24 through 27, 2014 in New Orleans, LA.

The presentation will focus on data security and will provide best practices for helping to keep data secure within dealerships, as well as information on reducing the risks that can potentially compromise data. The NADA Convention and Expo is the world’s largest international convention for franchised new-vehicle dealers. It provides dealers the opportunity to meet face-to-face with executives of major auto manufacturers, features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest equipment, services and technologies, and offers dozens of workshops with the industry’s leading trainers.

“I am especially pleased to share the stage with Devon, given our mutual commitment to data security,” said Grant. “We look forward to presenting insights and best practices to help auto dealers leverage tools and resources available to help keep data secure.”

Attendees who participate in the session will learn:

  • Some of the greatest data security risks affecting dealerships, and what can be done about them
  • How to help protect the private data of their business, employees and customers
  • How to create a data security plan for their dealership

“Data security and privacy are vital to any business, irrespective of sector or geography,” said Bryan. “Global threats to data security and privacy continue to increase in sophistication and proliferation as does the increasingly complex web of legislative and regulatory requirements from national, state and local agencies. It is critically important for dealerships to keep apprised of the ways to enhance the safety and compliance of their business and the information of their employees and clients.”

Grant has presented at the Digital Dealer Conference and Exposition, 20 Groups and DrivingSales Executive Summits, and is a writer for AutoSuccess, NCM Institute, DrivingSales and Digital Dealer. His areas of special expertise include data security, automotive data management, strategic planning, automotive direct marketing, online reputation management, new business development, SEO, dealership sales training and third party leads.

J&L Marketing has received an attestation from SSAE-16, a universal standard established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for financial institutions to protect the privacy of consumer information. The AICPA issued the SSAE-16 standards to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer data; to protect against threats to the security and integrity of customer data; and to prevent against unauthorized access to customer data.
