CDK Global Announces New DMS Enhancements Available through CDK IntelliDealer™ 3.0

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., – August 09, 2016 – CDK Global’s Dealer Management System (DMS) for heavy equipment dealers recently upgraded its features. IntelliDealer 3.0, available to dealers in the U.S. and Canada, now includes the ability for dealers to better manage workflows, check customer insurance coverage and schedule service appointments. The upgrades to the DMS were made after extensive customer feedback and discussion during CDK’s dealer advisory board and user group meetings.

New features in CDK’s IntelliDealer 3.0 system include:

Data cloud – Dealers are able to share and take advantage of a repository of tips, questions and answers submitted by other dealers and CDK. The system pushes the information into the cloud and to the CDK support team to help diagnose any potential problems or issues.

Task Tracker improvements – Enhances project management and workflows for all areas of the dealership.

Rental insurance – This allows dealers to ensure that a customer has the proper and sufficient insurance to cover rental equipment. The system also takes into consideration the equipment currently being rented from the dealership.

Multimedia enhancements – This enables dealers to tie pictures of the equipment being rented to the agreement by a mobile device. The new features will help dealers identify damage when the equipment is returned.

KPI Location Comparison Graphs – New modern key performance indicator that includes data visualizations across all dealership locations.
